Canada’s Carlos Villamarin soared to the top of the leaderboard at the end of September but his reign at the top has proven to be short-lived because Poland’s Marcin Dziubdziela has overtaken him.

Dziubdziela enjoyed a runner-up finish in a massive GGMasters event last week. October 25 saw the GGMasters High Roller become part of the Bounty Hunters Series. The Pole finished in second-place for a combined score worth $64,632. The points earned from that impressive finish saw Dziubdziela leapfrog everyone and land at the top of the current table.

Russia’s “sp!ke” won the event Dziubdziela finished second in. Victory came with a prize weighing in at $107,580. The Russian bolstered their POY points tally and no occupies sixth-place with only two months worth of GGMasters left to play.

“TonyGPT” is a new name in the top 10. They flew up the rankings courtesy of winning a BHS edition of the GGMasters High Roller on October 19.

Fifth-place currently belongs to “dirtynude” who wasn’t even in contention a month ago. That changed when they won the GGMasters High Roller on October 1, banking almost $165,000 and a sackful of leaderboard points in the process.

The final new name in the POY standings is that of Austria’s “DerEinzahler”, which translate to “The Payer”. The Austrian topped a field of 929 players in the latest GGMasters High Roller and won a shade under $164,000.
