Analyst: Watch Which Altcoins Hold Against Bitcoin For Surprising Springboard Recovery

The top two crypto asset by market cap Bitcoin and Ethereum pumping so hard has left the rest of the crypto market in its dust. Even DeFi tokens that had once been hot to trot have plummeted in the wake of this week’s rally.

But one crypto analyst claims its wise to pay close attention right now to how certain altcoins hold up to the rally in majors, as they may be the top-performing assets once the top two titans cool off.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP Break Out, Crushing Small-Cap Altcoins In Their Wake

Bitcoin and altcoins have an unusual relationship. Occasionally, the assets all rise together in the same tide, while other times they show an inverse relationship.

When major crypto assets all rally together, it can often be disastrous for riskier, smaller-cap, and mid-cap altcoins. That’s exactly what happened this week when Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP began soaring.

Bitcoin broke above $10,000 and is trading well above $11,000, and Ethereum rallied by almost 50% in a week.

XRP, which has been the crypto market’s worst performer two years running, is primed for a major rally and kicked it off with an over 13% return on the week. It even helped the altcoin regain the third-ranked spot in the top ten crypto assets by market cap from stablecoin Tether.

Together, these top three crypto assets absorbed a substantial amount of capital from the rest of the crypto market, fueling the pump. New money also came in, as investors flocked to hard assets like precious metals and crypto as a hedge against inflation.

Analyst: Altcoins Holding Up During Major Crypto Rally Highlight Most Promising Projects

Which altcoins hold up well against Bitcoin and Ethereum during the next few weeks, especially small-cap altcoins, will be the best performers in the new bull market, according to one crypto analyst.

The analyst claims that any altcoins that show exceptional strength and hold their valuations well while majors rally, will be the most likely assets to “springboard” back when Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP cool down.

Related Reading | Crypto Analyst Pitches a Case For XRP to Hit $30 By End of 2021

Any small or mid-cap altcoins holding strong against a massive rally in majors will be due to their holders seeing the true, long-term value in the projects or coins. This typically indicates that there’s real merit in the cryptocurrency, and are the likeliest to rise when the full bull market begins.

For example, Ethereum and XRP were once far less than their current valuations, and the initial Bitcoin boom helped propel these assets into the finance industry limelight.

They’ve since become top contenders of their own. And when they do finally pause their current momentum, the next round of top contenders will begin to stand out from the pack.

What Is the Fastest Paying Online Casino in 2020?

Are you tired of waiting far too long to receive your online gambling winnings? Lucky for you, online casinos with fast withdrawal processing do exist, you only need how to find them.

Let us solve this problem for you because you shouldn’t have to wait for weeks or months to receive your money in this digital age.

A lot of casinos are now speeding up the payout process and offer payments instantly. We will list down our top picks for the best payout casinos online, and we’ll also advise you regarding the best and fastest payment methods.

Quick Payout Online Casinos: The Top 10

After doing rigorous research, we came up with the following list of real money online casinos that offer fast payouts.

Some of these even provide instant withdrawal that takes seconds to process. We are sure one of these will satisfy whatever you need.

*Note that we are not related to any of the casinos on this list. PokerNews.com belongs to the Oddschecker Global Media and is part of the Flutter group. If you have doubts about trusting our recommendations about the best online casinos, we have outlined the process of the factors we considered in the next step.

How do We Rank the Fastest Paying Online Casinos?

When one uses their hard-earned cash to have some fun, it is only natural that they would want a fast payout. Most reputable online gambling sites will let you withdraw your money efficiently.

We finalized our list of recommendations after a lengthy process. If you feel doubtful, read on to gain some insights on how we made the list of best online casinos.

Which company is in charge of the online casino

The initial step we take in our review is to find out the company that is in charge of the gambling site. Many gambling sites prefer to remain anonymous, and hence, this is not easy information to find.

Whenever the information is not public or we are not able to find a clear indication of who owns the website, we discard the casino right away.

Gambling licensing

The next step for ensuring that you get the best online experience is finding whether the online casino is licensed.

Legitimate authorities license most casinos that offer instant withdrawals. Thus we ensure that the recommendations we bring to you are all fully licensed. Here on PokerNews you find only online casinos that are licensed by the following gaming authorities:

  • United Kingdom Gambling Commission
  • Malta Gaming Authority
  • CuraƧao e-Gaming Commission
  • Official US gaming authorities

The reputation of the casino

After identifying the company in charge of the online casino and ensuring that the site is licensed, we try to assess its reputation.

There are numerous scammers present in the name of online casinos, and a lot of people fall prey to them. We try to identify red-flags in the site’s history before including them in the recommendations we bring to you.

If there is a history of delayed payouts or non-payments, it is a huge question mark on the casino’s integrity.

Non-payments indicate that the casino is a scammer, and we immediately eliminate the site from our process.

Is the online casino easy to navigate?

The recommendations that we bring to you are not only the best payout online casinos; they also have websites that are user friendly.

A quick payout is utterly useless if you get frustrated while browsing a site without explicit instructions.

All the websites included in our recommendations have a user-friendly interface. These casinos have the fastest withdrawals and a simple process to do so.

While investigating the ease of use, we also look at the functionality of the site on various devices.

Does the site work equally well on laptops, mobiles, and computers? We realize that not everyone will have access to all of these, and we want to bring the best experience to you.

A lot of people will gamble in between work breaks on their phones. We thus check whether all the real money games that the casino offers are available on phones or not.

How many withdrawal options are available?

While compiling our recommendation lists, we try to recommend sites that have a variety of banking options.

A variety of banking options ensure that the casino has money in many types of accounts. This means you can get your payment quickly.

Various options also mean that the companies behind casino sites have the capital needed to fulfil their customer’s requests.

Moreover, not all payment methods require the same processing time. Hence, the larger the variety, the better a casino can cater to your needs.

How are customers treated?

Our core value is customer satisfaction. Thus, the people who access the online casinos that we recommend must get excellent customer service.

Casino sites that offer fast payouts mostly have an excellent customer service department. The employees swiftly process payment requests so that the customer quickly receives money.

Fast withdrawals and competent customer service departments are directly proportional.

In addition to a fast payout, a casino with excellent customer service will preferably have a FAQ page.

It should also have online chat support with a customer service representative. The representative should answer any of your questions not available on the FAQ page.

Variety of games

What good is excellent customer service or a variety of banking options if there aren’t enough games? No one will enjoy such a site.

The best online casinos will provide you with a variety of games so that you can have maximum enjoyment.

We kept this in mind and for this reason the casinos that we recommend have a massive selection of games.

Most online casinos have a variety of slot games. Think about any TV show or movie that you love. You are surely going to find a slot machine relating to that.

However, our recommendations offer more than real money slot machines. They include table games, real money blackjack online, video poker. If you want a live casino experience, some games will even have a live dealer. It cannot get better than this.

Realizing the importance of real money winning for our customers, these are the checks that we do to make sure that our recommendations are up to the mark.

To make sure that all recommendations are reliable, we create accounts on all the gambling sites that we review.

This ensures that we are getting all information first hands, including:

  • the features of the site
  • the customer experience
  • the variety of payments
  • the games on offer
  • and a lot more

Does the casino offer a welcome bonus?

The best casinos all offer a welcome bonus to new players.

While preparing our list, we search for casinos that offer a generous reward. These bonuses can include an initial deposit as a gift.

They can also include free spins, a free game of video poker or Blackjack, etc. We do this to ensure that people who follow our recommendations get the best experience.

Every month, we publish also updated rankings of all the latest casino bonuses to give you direct access to the best offers on the market. If you are looking for value, that’s a page you should not miss.

Fast Casino Payouts: Why Should You Care?

The reason that you are on this page is to find the best payout casino online for yourself. That means you already care about the processing speed and instant withdrawals.

You must be thinking, “obviously, everyone wants their hard-earned funds as soon as possible.”

However, there are many other reasons to care about fast payouts. Payment speeds can give you a prominent picture of what you mean to the casino and how they manage their operations.

Of course, you know a slow payment is a delayed transaction. But when should you consider it delayed?

The first thing that you need to know is the online casino’s processing time. The processing time is the time that the casino takes to do the necessary work to transfer the payment information to the bank.

Fast payouts imply the importance of customer satisfaction in the casino.

They also imply the overall financial health of the casino. If the payouts are slow, it can be a signal that the casino is low on funds.

Casinos with low funds imply that they never had enough customers in the first place, and hence they are failing.

Capital to hold money for various payout options means that the company has funds to fall back on. The company is not going to scam you, and you will receive your payment on time.

If the payments are slow, the site might be hoarding money from depositors before getting enough to pay you. Again a sign of low capital and a failing business.

Do not freak out if your payment is delayed once in a blue moon. Even the fastest paying online casino can have a technical issue or glitch.

However, if slow payments are consistent, your fear of the casino closing down is real.

Consistently delayed payments imply that the casino is low on capital and can close down at any point, and you may never get your real money winning.

Now that you know this, how should you react if your casino has multiple delayed payments?

  • If you have had a good experience with their customer service, it won’t be a bad idea to reach out. They might be facing a glitch or any other temporary issue.
  • If the slow payments are not picking up pace, it can be bad news. We would suggest switching casinos.
  • If you still want to keep playing at these casinos, we would suggest not putting in too much money. This would result in smaller losses if something terrible were to happen.

Keep playing for fun if you enjoy the interface, but for reliable payments, switch to one of our recommended casinos!

Fast Payment Methods

Switching to our recommended casinos will not be much use unless you know which backing methods give the best casino online payouts in the shortest time.

We make sure that most of our recommendations have a wide variety of payment options, and it is only natural if you get confused.

That is why we have formulated this guide to help you in your quest for the fastest online payout.

E-wallets

If fast payment is what you are looking for, a stellar choice is an e-wallet.

Having an E-wallets are a popular choice because:

  • You can use them for deposits as well as withdrawals.
  • The deposits are almost instant.
  • They can be used to transfer low amounts as well as large transactions.
  • There might be special promotions or gifts on using e-wallets for deposits.
  • You can use your e-wallet account for online shopping as well. That means faster payouts can lead to satisfying your shopping needs quicker as well.
  • It’s free to open an account.

However, there is a downside to using e-wallets. In some countries, you might not be allowed to do real money gambling using them.

Popular e-wallets include

PayPal

PayPal is the most renowned e-wallet in the US. This popularity is because PayPal offers speedy withdrawals.

As soon as the casino completes the process, the money will immediately appear in your account.

You can also use PayPal to shop online, so you don’t need to transfer funds to the bank.

Bitcoins and Cryptocurrency

Bitcoins are the most popular for instant withdrawal in the US and Australia. Cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoins, are probably the fastest banking method that you can use.

But apart from that, bitcoin and cryptos in general have also many other advantages.

  • You can hide your identity while gambling with cryptocurrency.
  • You can deposit or withdraw small amounts as well as high.
  • The fun part about dealing in bitcoins is that many casinos have bitcoin games that are exclusive to crypto users.
  • The best part about using cryptocurrencies is that you can receive your withdrawals on the same day.

However, the biggest downside to cryptocurrency is that you need to have some background knowledge of its dealings.

Credit or Debit Card

Another option for fast casino online best payout is your bank cards.

Almost all our recommendations include credit or debit cards as a payment option. The benefits of using debit or credit cards are:

  • Almost everyone has a bank account and bank cards, so you don’t need any specialized knowledge.
  • You can deposit your money quickly using back cards. Hence you will be able to play faster.
  • Most casinos will not charge fees on deposit.
  • Charges on withdrawals will also be low, mostly in single digits.

There are numerous downsides to using readily available cards, too.

Firstly, while the online casino might process the payouts quickly, your bank might take some time. So make sure you know how much time your bank will require.

It will mostly be between three to five days. Hence it is not as fast as cryptocurrencies or Paypal.

Also, make sure that your casino allows you to cash your winnings using credit cards or debit cards. They might direct one to bank transfer or cheques, which will slow down the process even more.

Lastly, before you enter your account or card details, make sure that the online casino is valid.

No one wants to fall into the hands of scammers. That is why we would advise you to one of our recommended sites.

Slow Payment Methods

If you are on this site to look for fast payout options, we must inform you about the slowest methods.

No one wants to wait for days or months to receive their winnings. So avoid the following methods if it is possible for you.

Bankwire

Bank wire is an option present in most online casinos for withdrawals. However, it is not one of the fastest options.

Transactions may take longer to process, but the time length ultimately depends on the intermediary bank.

Check

Both paper checks and eChecks have a substantially long clearance time.

Paper checks can take up to 10 days to clear, while eChecks take a minimum of four days. This is a massive contrast to the maximum four day period of PayPal.

Checks also have a fear of bouncing in case of low funds, unlike using credit cards.

Money Transfer

Bank to bank money transfer is probably the slowest option available.

The communication between the two banks might take time. This will lead to a long wait.

We would thus recommend opting for other channels of withdrawals if you are impatient.

How to Speed Up the Casino Payout Process?

You have done everything right, chosen one of the most reliable casino sites, and a fast payout method. But even then, there are a few things that can slow you down.

However, we will guide you through the steps that you can undertake to get your money as fast as possible.

1. Submit your documents as soon as you can

Most online casinos will require you to submit your identification documents before they let you withdraw. These documents will include your bank statement, utility bills, etc.

The reason that casinos require these documents is to ensure that you are not gambling illegally.

They also want to make sure that you are an adult and old enough to gamble.

They use the documents to ensure that you are not impersonating someone. It also helps them to rule out the possibility of duplicate accounts.

An excellent way to make your payouts as fast as possible is to submit all the required documents as soon as you sign up on the sites.

Follow the terms and conditions of the site to a tee

Yes, we all hate reading those lengthy terms and conditions. But here you have to make sure that you at least scan through them.

If you unknowingly break any condition just because you were lazy to read the document, you will have delayed payments.

Read the terms and conditions to find the casino’s policy on using abusive language and harassment.

The terms and conditions will also include rules about counting cards.

Trust us, reading the terms and conditions will only make life easier for you.

Another way to have better payouts is to choose a site that offers shorter processing periods for withdrawals and deposits.

One thing to look out for is whether the casino processes payments on weekends or not.

Our recommended casinos all have relatively simple terms and conditions.

So, a quick summary before we address the frequently asked questions. In this article, we tried to

  • List the best online casinos for quick payouts.
  • We tried to highlight the best banking methods ad the worst.
  • Lastly, we highlight what you can do to ease the process for yourself.

FAQ

Now let’s address some frequently asked questions before we end our discussion.

How long does it take for a casino yo payout my winnings?

The payout processing can be immediate, or it can take a few days. It depends on the policies of the casino as well as the method you are using. Paypal and bitcoin will be almost immediate.

Do I need to use the same payment method for deposits and withdrawals?

Not necessarily. As we mentioned, many casinos will not allow withdrawals through credit cards but will enable deposits. A lot depends on the regulations in the country and the specifications of the casino.

What’s the minimum withdrawal for a casino payout?

The minimum amount of casino withdrawal depends on the casino’s policies and the method of withdrawal. If you want minimal payouts, Neteller will let you withdraw even $10-$12.

What’s the maximum withdrawal for a casino payout?

That depends on the method that you chose and the policies of your casinos. Some methods will let you withdraw five-figure totals.

Are there additional fees to pay for a quick casino payout?

No. Certain charges are associated with specific methods, but it does not have anything to do with how fast your transactions are processed.

What payment methods offer the fastest payouts?

Usually, cryptocurrencies and electronic wallets have the fastest payouts. It also depends on the site and which method it processes faster.

What methods of payment offer the slowest payout?

Checks, bank wires, and money transfers are usually the slowest methods because they largely depend on the operator and user bank policies.

The promotion presented on this page was available at the time of writing. With some Casino promotions changing on daily basis, we suggest you to check on the site if it still available. Also, please do not forget to read the terms and conditions in full before you accept a bonus.

Why Was The Official Apple Twitter’s Only Tweet Ever About Bitcoin?

Oddly enough, Apple is known for never using its official Twitter account to market its flagship iPhone or Mac computers. However, the one tweet the account has ever made was directly about Bitcoin to its more than 4.6 million followers.

Comparing Apples To Oranges, And a Computer Firm To Crypto

Bitcoin was created by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto sparking an entire industry of competitors. Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, and like the cryptocurrency is the leader in its space.

Apple also sparked a sea of competitors and knock offs, much like what has happened with the emergence of altcoins.

But Apple is a company, led by executives and featuring everything from a full marketing arm to a research and development department. There’s constant productivity pushing innovation and adoption of their products forward. None of this exists for Bitcoin.

While both Apple and Bitcoin both have an official Twitter account, Apple’s strangely has never been used to tweet to market its products.

It was used, however, to bring publicity to Bitcoin. But it is not in the positive way you might expect.

Why Did The Tech Brand’s Official Account Tweet About Bitcoin?

The reason Bitcoin was mentioned in the official Apple account’s only tweet, was because it compromised by a hacker.

The hacker then posted a BTC address, along with the commonly seen cryptocurrency scam requesting a sum of crypto is sent for double the amount in return.

Celebrities are usually impersonated for such tactics, using other accounts designed to mimic the likes of Elon Musk or President Trump. But in this case, the hacker was able to gain control of not only Apple’s official account, but accounts of public figures, musicians, and politicians.

Jeff Bezos, Joe Biden, Kim, and Kanye were among those who had their accounts hacked.

A 17-year old Tampa teen was responsible for the attack, who was recently detained by authorities. He’s now facing a full slate of charges including one count of organized fraud, 17 counts of communications fraud, one count of fraudulent use of personal information with over $100,000 or 30 or more victims, 10 counts of fraudulent use of personal information, and one count of access to computer or electronic device without authority.

Although the suspect is a teen, the court system plans on charging him as an adult if allowed due to the crime being monetary related.

Over $120,000 in BTC was transferred to accounts controlled by the hacker. There are several similar scams to watch out for. Be sure to check out our list of the most common Bitcoin scams and how to avoid them.

Carmen “cjdstable” Dimaria was the next to go after having pocket jacks cracked by the tens of Brian “ggtdm” McGill, and then Michael “bigfatpirate” Whidden bowed out when their ace-king went down in flames to the queen-nine of James “muskrrr” Moore, which rivered a straight.

Minutes later, Stuart “dusty16” Kemble bowed out in sixth place when their king-five failed to get lucky against the king-queen of McGill, and then Gregory “gwitsch” Witsch followed them out the door when their ace-five was outdrawn by Pock’s ten-nine.

McGill took his leave after three-bet jamming with king-four suited only to get called by and lose to Pock, who held with ace-five. Despite winning that hand, Pock was next to go after getting it in on the turn with two pair only to see Moore turn over trip fives.

Moore took a more than 6:1 chip lead into heads-up play but Lessin fought hard and took over the lead. After a bit of jostling, Moore jammed a five-high flop with ace-high only to get called by Lessing’s top two pair, which turned into a full house on the turn for the win.

The final tournament on the schedule – Event #31: $500 NLH Championship – will take place at 3 p.m. PDT on Friday. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will once again be reporting all the action, so be sure to tune in then to see who captures the next 2020 WSOP bracelet!

Bitcoin is Flirting with a Fresh Bull Break – And It Could Devastate Altcoins

Bitcoin is now flashing some immense signs of strength as its price pushes up towards its yearly highs of $11,400. This comes as Ethereum, and many other major altcoins, also build technical strength.

This ongoing uptrend is being driven by massive inflows of buying pressure that are helping to degrade the resistance established throughout the mid-$11,000 region.

Analysts believe that this could mark the start of the next leg up, which could send BTC to $12,000 or beyond.

This potential leg higher could devastate altcoins, according to one respected fund manager, who claims that a move towards $12,000 could be imminent if BTC breaks above $11,400.

Because Ethereum has been providing Bitcoin with some guidance in recent weeks, ETH may be immune from any type of BTC-induced downtrend.

Bitcoin Flashes Signs of Strength as Analysts Watch for a Move to $12,000

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading up over 2% at its current price of $11,350. This marks a notable surge from daily lows of $10,800 that were set yesterday evening when bears attempted to invalidate BTC’s uptrend.

The strong support that bulls were able to build around these lows helped to absorb the selling pressure and subsequently allowed the crypto to rally higher.

It is now pushing up against its key resistance within the mid-$11,000 region, which may be difficult for buyers to surmount in the near-term.

One factor to consider that could have implications for Bitcoin is the massive influx of buy orders that have been backing this latest push higher.

While speaking about this, one analyst offered a chart showing that BTC is breaking out of a bull flag.

“Bitcoin 4 hour – Flirting with a new leg up,” he explained in a recent tweet.

If this resistance is shattered, BTC will likely break into the lower-$12,000 region before facing another influx of selling pressure that slows its ascent.

BTC’s Next Rally Could Crush Altcoins – Claims Fund Manager

While speaking about Bitcoin’s near-term outlook, one well-respected fund manager explained that he believes a BTC movement past $11,400 is imminent.

He reckons that this will likely send the benchmark digital asset towards $12,000, with this next leg up delivering a major blow to altcoins.

“If BTC breaks the resistance at $11.4K, we are going above $12K in no time. Will take the wind out of alts again short term.”

How the cryptocurrency trades in the coming hours as its monthly candle close approaches should provide valuable insight into where it will trend in the coming weeks.

Insane Pot at GGPoker High-Stakes Cash Game

While most of the focus on GGPoker for both players and observers has been on the ongoing World Series of Poker bracelet events, high-stakes cash action has been popping as well.

Never was that more clear than on Monday, when a wild hand went down, one that wouldn’t have looked out of place in a James Bond movie scene.

Crazy Three-Way All-In Pot

The game in question was $200/$400 six-handed no-limit hold’em with a $100 ante all around to spice things up. There was even a straddle for $800 from under the gun to further juice the preflop pot.

“ManoloLama” opened things up second to act with a raise to $2,000. “Apustaja” called on the button, as did Leon Tsoukernik in the small blind. Big blind Luuk Gieles was ready with a three-bet to $12,600. From the straddle, Alexandros Kolonias wanted to play for even more and shoved for $38,800. “ManoloLama” stuck in their $48,550.

At this point, “Apustaja” and Tsoukernik decided the action was too much for them, so they let their hands go. Gieles, however, was in there with a quick call covering both of his all-in opponents.

Gieles: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} (66.92%)
Kolonias: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} (17.89%)
“ManoloLama”: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} (14.69%)

According to the PokerNews odds calculator, Gieles rated to take the $140K pot down more than two-thirds of the time with his aces.

However, the GGPoker RNG had a different outcome in mind as the board ran {10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} to give “ManoloLama” a full house.

Luuk Gieles
Gieles took a bad beat at an inopportune time with his aces.

Aces over kings and queens is a rare occurrence, but not once-in-a-lifetime by any means. What made the hand more wild was the other hands involved. GGPoker lets players who folded show their cards, and Tsoukernik revealed he’d held {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, while “Apustaja” showed they’d released {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Both players would have made straights only to see an even more massive pot shipped to “ManoloLama.”

Here’s how the odds would have shaken out had everyone stayed in the pot:

Gieles: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} (50.47%)
Kolonias: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} (16.48%)
“ManoloLama”: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} (12.79%)
Tsoukernik: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} (13.31%)
“Apustaja”: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} (5.54%)

Nosebleed Action Galore

While that $200/$400 pot may be a special occurrence, there’s certainly been no shortage of high-stakes action in recent days on GGPoker. In fact, the site has been consistently hosting some nosebleed action that would make the fans from the old Full Tilt days feel right at home.

Not only has $200/$400 no-limit hold’em been running on occasion, but nearly every day, there has been action at the $200/$400 pot-limit Omaha table. In fact, there’s usually been a full table worth of players willing to battle at those lofty stakes. Marcello “lazyexpress” Marigliano, Timofey Kuznetsov and Wiktor Malinowski have been some of the regs in the games.

The latter, known and feared as “limitless” for years in the highest-stakes games on PokerStars, has been sitting at all of the biggest games on the site daily, waiting for action with $80,000 in front of him at $200/$400.

He’s had several sessions battling heads up with Tsoukernik where the players straddled back and forth until they were playing $1,600/$3,200. Seeing a $300,000 stack hasn’t been uncommon, and some pots have gotten near the $600K mark.

For those looking to watch or play the biggest poker games online, GGPoker appears to be the place to go right now.

GGPoker Donates Over $350,000 After HUGE WSOP Online Charity Event

Event 33: $1,111 Every 1 for Covid Relief (Caesars Cares) ended this past Sunday. Alek Stasiak was the eventual winner taking home $343,203 and a gold bracelet. Typically a story like this is all we have at the end of a poker tournament. We follow the big names and love hearing about someone unknown making a deep run and how it came about. Event 33 gave us that story and much more.

The tournament attracted 2,323 participants, who each donated $111 of their buy-in to the Caesars Cares assistance fund; this fund supports Caesars Entertainment team members across the U.S. who have suffered unanticipated hardships as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Over $350,000 Raised for Charity

GGPoker today announces that $257,853 was raised by the worldwide poker community via “Event #33: Every 1 for COVID Relief”, one of the poker tournaments in its WSOP Online 2020 series. GGPoker pledged a further $96,903, resulting in a total donation of $354,756 to Caesars Cares.

“We are incredibly grateful to our partner GGPoker for their contribution to Caesars Cares,” said Ty Stewart, Executive Director of the World Series of Poker. “This donation will provide needed support to Caesars Entertainment team members experiencing unexpected setbacks as we work towards resuming operations and restoring normal business conditions. As if GGPoker’s idea to direct a portion of the buy-in from each player to Caesars Cares wasn’t generous enough, we are absolutely floored and elated by their decision to contribute nearly another $100,000 to the fund.”

“The international poker community really stepped up this time, and GGPoker was there to push the effort forward,” said GGPoker ambassador, Daniel Negreanu. “We will continue to raise funds for worthy causes in the future, and I’m grateful to be part of something that’s helping to make such a difference.”

GGPoker Charity Donations

At the end of the day, two first place prizes were awarded. Alek “astazz” Stasiak received $343,203 for his efforts in the tournament and Caesars Cares received $354,756 to help all their employees that were affected by COVID-19.

Following the latest pledge, GGPoker and the worldwide poker community have now donated more than $600,000 in the past six months, with over $250,000 raised to fight COVID-19 via earlier GGPoker charity tournaments.

This Indicator Predicted the 2017 and 2019 Bitcoin Rallies; It Just Flashed Again

Bitcoin is currently flashing some signs of strength as it continues consolidating within the lower-$11,000 region.

Overnight, bears attempted to push the digital asset below $11,000, but this dip was met with significant buying pressure that subsequently allowed it to climb higher.

Analysts are widely noting that the resistance found within the mid-$11,000 region remains a crucial hurdle that the cryptocurrency may continue struggling to surmount.

Because BTC is consolidating above its support throughout the upper-$10,000 region, it does seem as though it may be well-positioned to push higher in the near-term.

Its declining volatility also indicates that it may once again be coiling up before it makes a big movement.

One indicator that just flashed is offering bulls with an incredibly positive sign for BTC’s near-term outlook.

This indicator has only flashed twice in the past few years – once before the 2017 bull run and once before that seen in 2019.

Bitcoin is Coiling Up for Another Big Movement as Volatility Dives

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading up just over 1% at its current price of $11,250. This marks a notable surge from daily lows of $10,800 that were set yesterday.

The slight uptrend seen today came about close on the heels of that seen by Ethereum. If ETH continues showing strength as it pushes against its key resistance at $350, it may continue providing a tailwind that lifts BTC higher as well.

Despite these tempered signs of strength, it is important to keep in mind that Bitcoin remains caught within a consolidation phase between roughly $10,800 and $11,300.

This has caused its volatility to once again dive – as one analyst on Twitter observed in a recent tweet.

“Interesting how fast they crushed BTC vol; the 1 month ATM already back to levels from two weeks ago.”

This Indicator Suggests BTC Is About to Enter a Bull Run

One popular cryptocurrency trader explained in a tweet that an elusive indicator that has forecasted previous bull markets is now flashing again.

This indicator surfaced in late-2017 just before Bitcoin ran to highs of nearly $20,000. It also flashed last year, before the benchmark crypto ran from lows of under $4,000 to highs of $14,000.

The trader explained:

“The supertrend went green on the weekly. Probably no big deal. It’s not like this indicator has marked major macro bull & bear cycles in the past.”

Bitcoin’s current strength may be enough to guide it significantly higher in the days and weeks ahead.

$1.2B Bitcoin Futures and Options Contracts Just Expired — What’s Next?

A total of 106,000 Bitcoin (BTC) futures contracts and options expired today, and this has investors curious about how BTC price may respond, leading into and after the expiry.

Bears were not expecting the most recent run to $11,000, especially after two months of sideways trading activity. The 52% increase in Bitcoin futures’ aggregate open interest increase in July indicates that sellers are either excessively confident or mostly using it for hedge and arbitrage opportunities.

Bitcoin futures aggregate open interest

Bitcoin futures aggregate open interest. Source: Skew

The above data shows total futures open interest surpassing $5.2 billion, just 3% shy to its historical high in mid-February. Although this number might seem daunting, the truth is less than $500 million expired today.

Bitcoin options were a bit more worrisome as 32% of the previous day $2.1 billion in aggregate open interest expired. Unlike futures markets, there is not much benefit in rolling over options over the last trading days.

Options contracts are a winner takes it all market, as those heavily underwater are deemed worthless. As for the $1.4 billion in open interest that did not expire today, the big question is figuring out how bullish/bearish positioned are those.

Futures open interest unfazed after 18% gains

The average leverage usage on BitMEX surpasses 20x, meaning a 10% move should be enough to liquidate 60% of traders due to insufficient margin covering their risk.

Bitcoin BTC perpetual liquidations

Bitcoin BTC perpetual liquidations. Source: Skew

The above chart depicts a mere $115 million in buy liquidations on July 27 despite a 12% price hike, signaling that those sellers had an unusually high margin. This a bullish indicator indeed, as most of those future contracts sellers seem to be hedged.

Options markets remain bullish

Bitcoin options open interest by expiry

Bitcoin options open interest by expiry. Source: Skew

Bitcoin options open interest reduced by $690 million today, leaving 60% of the remaining  $1.4 billion to August and September. More importantly, one should understand the impact on the put/call ratio. This metric provides an excellent gauge of professional traders sentiment.

Bitcoin options put/call ratio

Bitcoin options put/call ratio. Source: Skew

As per the above chart, the put/call ratio was 63% on July 30, ahead of expiry. This indicates that options (bearish) open interest was 37% smaller than call options (bullish). Preliminary data show that indicator is currently at 69%. Despite remaining in a bullish territory, open interest for the remaining calendar shows slightly less optimism.

The net expiry result will most likely be neutral

Futures markets are naturally more balanced as longs and shorts have equivalent exposure at all times. By monitoring recent perpetual liquidation activity, one can infer that most sellers are fully hedged. Some $500 million expired today, and this is less than 10% of aggregated open interest.

Currently, BTC options markets seem to be favoring bulls, and as mentioned earlier, the most recent Bitcoin (BTC) price surge caught many bears off guard.

Investors should closely monitor options 25% delta skew indicator and futures contracts contango, as previously reported by Cointelegraph. Each of these indicators will signal whether there is potentially excessive bullish activity.

The views and opinions expressed here are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of Cointelegraph. Every investment and trading move involves risk. You should conduct your own research when making a decision.

What To Expect If Bitcoin Forms Three White Soldiers On Weekly Timeframes

Bitcoin price this week exploded through resistance at $10,000 and blasted to a high of $11,400. The cryptocurrency is now consolidating below that level, gearing up for what one crypto analyst expects to be a follow up nearly one and a half times the size of this week’s rally.

Will the cryptocurrency close a “Three White Soldiers” formation, and if it does, what can be expected for price action in the days and weeks ahead?

Bitcoin Price Weekly Structure Looks Set For Bullish Uptrend Pattern, Claims Crypto Analyst

In response to the United States’ second round of stimulus money flowing into free markets, gold soared to a new record, while silver, Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies went on a tear.

These hard assets are expected to continue to perform in response to hastening inflation. Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are also breaking out from a three-year bear market, providing them with much pent up momentum.

Case in point, BTCUSD rallied over 13% this week alone, after spending nearly three full months consolidating below $10,000. And while much of the push from precious metals and crypto was due to the dollar collapsing and not all due to these assets pumping, most analysts are expecting the uptrend to continue in crypto.

According to one crypto analyst’s “bold take,” they expect Bitcoin to close out this week strong, yet next week much stronger. They see the leading cryptocurrency by market cap performing 1.5 times better than this week, confirming a three white soldiers Japanese candlestick pattern.

But what exactly will the pattern imply if confirmed?

Will Three White Soldiers Form On BTCUSD Weekly Price Chart? What Does This Mean?

Three white soldiers is a bullish Japanese candlestick pattern, where three green candles close in a row, each higher than the next, with similar-sized or increasingly larger candlestick bodies.

Even if the pattern confirms with three candles in a row, due to heavily overbought conditions the fourth candle in the formation is often a pullback. After that, however, three white soldiers would confirm a new uptrend.

The last time such a pattern confirmed, was during the 2019 parabolic rally that took Bitcoin price to $14,000.

After finally breaking out from resistance near Bitcoin’s bottom, the asset paused, consolidated, and then took off like a rocket ship. The second weekly candle was particularly large after the breakout, matching the rally we’ve seen this past week.

What came next, was another 100% climb before the asset topped out. Another 100% rally from current prices, would take Bitcoin price to a new all-time high.

Three white soldiers are the opposite signal of three black crows. The bearish signal appeared on monthly timeframes following the asset topping in 2019, promoting a new downtrend to follow.

With three white soldiers potentially forming on BTCUSD weekly price charts, will it kick off another explosive uptrend?
